MyPixelLife [Jam Version]

Having been shocked to hear the news that MyPixelLife, an MMO you used to really enjoy when you were younger, is shutting down, you decide to log back in before it's lost forever only to discover something dark (and also quite silly) is going on...

This is for my submission to the Pixel Game Jam this year. I am very much a beginner and this is actually the first game I have finished making. I was originally going to be in a team but decided to go solo as my teammates were in different time zones. 

Originally,  I started doing a different project but I ran into many problems so I decided to go for something simpler to make so I could finish within the time limit and make up for the 2 days worth of work I lost. It was stressful  but I managed to get it finished to what I think is a good standard.  It is tied to the theme of mystery as you try and uncover what is going on. 

I made this on RPG Maker MV as you can tell and I also made all of the art, sound effects and title theme used in the game. My brother kindly offered to help with the art incase I didn't have time to finish but lucky I managed to finish in time. He also did the initial play test  and provided really helpful feedback and suggestions so special thanks to you Jack! Also thanks to my friends, Kendall, Jax, Mav , Reece, Cynthia, Zep and Bondo for also play testing\ being supportive!
